THE ROLE

We’re looking for self-starters, makers, doers, and creative visionaries to dream up and lead disruptive and groundbreaking marketing. We’re looking for people who share our mission to spread joy.

The ideal candidate is obsessed with culture and insights, with a passion for innovation and new digital and social platforms. You’ll be working on TikTok brand channels, viral campaigns, headline-grabbing projects, video marketing and more.

This person has a background in creating 360-degree campaigns at a creative agency, lives for the “big idea”, focuses on customer engagement, intuits client needs, develops & delivers killer proposals, and orchestrates home-run projects that leave clients begging for more. You have extensive experience across social media, a track record of disruptive brand marketing, and a bent to building creative solutions based around cultural trends.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Concept and assist with executing world-class, cross-channel creative campaigns alongside our production, strategy, and account teams
  • Extend and enhance M+S’s approach to creative disruption
  • Become a world leader in TikTok-first marketing, and lead brands to cultural relevance
  • Participate in brainstorms and help Invent new ways for brands to utilize TikTok and other new digital platforms, to drive virality, develop engaging brand channels, create high-performing ads, and innovate influencer campaigns
  • Develop campaigns across social (Facebook/YouTube/Instagram/TikTok) and invent ways to engage on emerging platforms (Triller/Reels/Clubhouse/etc.)
  • Enhance client presentations by writing compelling and digestible copy
  • Spread joy

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in a creative role at creative agencies and/or at large consumer brands and platforms (preferably both), focused on social media
  • Strong copywriting and brand strategy experience
  • Experience taking projects from concept through activation
  • Deep understanding (and obsession) with entertainment and social storytelling formats of today, such as TikTok, and a high interest in new and emerging social platforms. A low interest in traditional media
  • Can work autonomously and entrepreneurially
  • Ability to be scrappy and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and be knee deep in the work
  • Possess a confidence while presenting creative decisions to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Super out-of-the-box creative thinker with a passion to create disruptive work
  • Passionate and skilled
